Medbourne Cricket Club address: Hallaton Road, Medbourne, Leicestershire.
LE16 8DR. which is in the South East of Leicestershire.
The Club organises a range of teams covering ages from U10 to Seniors.  Training for the children is on a Saturday morning starting 9.30am.  Matches are organised and played on weekday evenings for the junior teams and on Saturday afternoons for the Mens team.  The juniors play all of their matches on the artificial strip which was relaid in 2007.
The Men's team was setup to provide a competitive place for those who have trained and played with the junior teams to continue their cricket.  The Men's team is always looking for new players to help reinforce their squad.
On a typical Saturday morning there can be upto 100 or more children split into various age groups and ability levels being trained by the excellent coaches (ECB qualified) and a willing group of parent helpers.  Unless the weather is inclement, the Clubs' portable bowling machine is used in training sessions.
Club members are given the opportunity to participate in a team if they want to - there is no pressure at the club to play in a competitive environment.
A number of our more able members are involved in playing cricket at higher levels both in District and County teams, however players of all abilities from total beginner to those with more experience are welcomed equally.
New members are always given a warm welcome by being paired with an existing member of their own age group.  Girls are particularly welcome to join us.
Tea and coffee are available for parents who choose to stay during junior training.
