| Kibworth V Medbourne
Medbourne visited Kibworth in their latest Wednesday night fixture and it was Kibworth who triumphed to maintain their 100% record. Medbourne batted first and after a slow start increased their rate with Bott (19), Fergus Clarke (19), Shillcock (23) and Driver (31 not out) helping them reaching a reasonable total of 115 for 3 from their 14 overs. There was a wicket each for Reilly, Wilkins and Bailey. When Kibworth batted the openers soon got into their stride and Pedley (47) and Bale (42 not out) put on over 70 for the first wicket. The solitary wicket by Driver bought Hamilton (25 not out) to the crease and together with Bale they reached their target in the 12th over. | Medbourne v Fleckney
In a match delayed by rain and reduced to 12 overs a side, Medbourne recorded an excellent victory at home to Fleckney. Batting first the runs flowed as Fergus Clarke (59) and George Bott (37 not out) put on 90 for the first wicket. A quick 32 not out from George Clarke ensured Medbourne reached a challenging 136 for 9 from their 12 overs. The only wicket fell to Stevens with Hind bowling well for Fleckney conceding only 18 from his 3 overs. Although the Fleckney openers put on 22 in the first 2 overs they then lost wickets quickly and only Brown (24), Spence (14) and Fairclough (10) reached double figures. Their innings ended on 90 for 9, a victory for Medbourne by 46 runs. Wickets were shared with 2 each for Harry Clarke, Brad Downing and Jack Rose with Alex Frith, Josh Haynes and George Clarke taking the others. There were catches from George Bott, Jack Rose, Fergus Clarke, and George Clark. The only disappointment was the rejection of a caught behind by Joel Nance by his umpire father. The batsman later admitted that he nicked it! |

| Nevill Holt V Medbourne
Medbourne recorded their second win in this league with a comprehensive victory at Nevill Holt. Medbourne batted first and the opening pair put on 39 before Jake Noble (15) was out. Fergus Clarke (38) kept the scoreboard moving but when he was out the scoring rate slowed thanks largely to the excellent bowling of Will Stuart-Jones (3-0-34-4). But his final over went for 24 as Ben Lovell (42) pushed the scoring along and Brad Downing (13 not out) ensured a challenging target of 135 for 8 in 14 overs. Will Cropper also bowled well for Nevill Holt taking 2 for 26. When Nevill Holt batted they had the worst possible start with a run out in the first over and then quickly lost more wickets with excellent bowling from George Clarke (3-0-13-3) and Alex Frith (3-0-21-2). Josh Haynes (3-1-10-3) then got in on the act with young Harry Clarke also bowling well. There were catches for Shillcott (2) Harry Clarke and George Clarke. This meant that Nevill Holt were always well behind the asking rate with only Ian Dunkley (27), Cropper (13) and M Adams (13) reaching double figures in their final total of 80 for 9, a victory for Medbourne by 55 runs. |
